GAITHERSBURG, MARYLAND, September 14, 2026 – Wayne Cardoni, DO, has joined The Centers for Advanced ENT Care (CAdENT) – Montgomery Otolaryngology where he specializes in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery, with fellowship training in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction.
He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training through the National Capital Consortium. With 18 years of clinical experience, Dr. Cardoni brings special expertise to treating conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. He has advanced expertise in the surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and tumors of the head and neck, including those of the mouth, throat, and salivary glands.
Reflecting his distinguished career, Dr. Cardoni has served as an ENT consultant to the White House, held academic and teaching appointments, and contributed to peer-reviewed medical literature. His military and clinical honors include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Associate Master Clinician Award at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
